Top UFC lightweight Dustin Porier explained why he apologized to Islam Makhachev after their fight.
"I wanted to let him know that I would never say anything about his family. At the press conference I called him motherfucker. I didn't plan to do that, we found ourselves face to face. Apparently in Dagestan they take such insults literally. I would never insult his family. I wish his family nothing but prosperity. I wanted to tell him about it personally, that there was a misunderstanding," - said the fighter.
