Former UFC two-weight champion Daniel Cormier has spoken out about meeting his fellow former lightweight division titleholder Khabib Nurmagomedov.
"I haven't seen my little brother in 18 months. I was so happy to see him. I saw this man grow from a kid who didn't speak English to a world champion and now a world-class coach and father. Your dad would be proud of you, kid. Good to see you champ, missed you," Cormier wrote in X.
Recall that Nurmagomedov secured Islam Makhachev in a fight with Dustin Porier at UFC 302 in Newark, USA. The fight ended with the victory of the Dagestani by choke hold in the fifth round.
