Strickland requested a title fight after beating Costa

Sean Strickland, former UFC middleweight champion, commented on his win over Paulo Costa, a former title challenger at that weight.

"It was a boring fight, sorry guys. I thought there was going to be a war and we were going to slaughter each other. I don't know what happened. But I did a lot for the UFC, fought No. 7 like you guys wanted. Now give me a title shot," wrote Strickland on his social networks.

Recall, Strickland defeated Costa by split decision in the co-main event of UFC 302, which took place this morning in Newark.
