White reacted to Makhachev's desire to fight for a second belt

UFC CEO Dana White commented on the promotion's lightweight champion Islam Makhachev's desire for a welterweight title fight.

"A fight with Edwards? Makhachev didn't discuss it with us. Islam has achieved a lot in the lightweight division. We'll have to talk it over and think about it. He is one of the best in the world. I don't think it makes sense for him to fight for the BMF belt. Now we like the option of Makhachev - Tsarukyan fight more," White said at the press conference.

We will remind, this morning Makhachev won by choke from Dustin Porier.
