Islam Makhachev, UFC lightweight champion, commented on the dissection he suffered in his fight with Dustin Puryear.
"The fight turned out good, but to be honest, I don't like dissections. It's going to hurt now. But Dustin is a real dog. He punches and kicks, he's ready to bite. I'm glad I got an early win. Dustin's still one of the best. Without the early win, there would have been questions. He's prepared very well, he's improved his defense against transfers. I think that's my first dissection. It's okay. This is MMA, not soccer or basketball. We fight, we try to beat each other up," Makhachev said at the press conference.
