Makhachev named the best boxer in the UFC

UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev expressed his opinion that former interim titleholder Dustin Puryear, whom he will fight on the night of June 2, has the best boxing skills in the promotion.

The fight between the Dagestani and the American will be the main event of the UFC 302 tournament in Newark, USA.

"Dustin Porier has great boxing skills. Some people say Max Holloway is the best boxer in the game, but Dustin beat him. That's why I think Porier is the best boxer in the MMA world. He has a gorgeous right hook, a gorgeous right hand," Makhachev said in an interview with Daniel Cormier.
