Costa called Strickland a patriot of the United States

UFC Brazilian middleweight Paulo Costa talked about how he feels about his next opponent, former promotional champion in the division Sean Strickland.

"How do I feel about Sean? Deep down, he's a good guy. He's a patriot and he wishes the best for his country and his people. Sean talks a lot and that's good for his promotion and also for our fight," Costa was quoted as saying by Cageside.

The confrontation between Strickland and Costa will take place on the night of June 2 in Newark as part of UFC 302.
