Cannonnier: "I'd like to see Puryear win in a fight with Makhachev"

Former middleweight title challenger Jared Cannonnier has made a prediction for the upcoming fight between lightweight division champion Islam Makhachev and Dustin Porier.

"I have to favor the champion. Islam is great at dominating using his wrestling. So I think he can beat Porier with a sub-match. But Dustin is a real dog, you can't write him off. As a fan I'd like to see Puryear win," Cannonier is quoted by BJ Penn.

Recall that the fight between Makhachev and Puryear will take place on the night of June 2 in the main event of the tournament UFC 302 in Newark, USA.
