Whittaker spoke about his plan for the fight with Chimaev

Former UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker revealed how he plans to proceed in his bout with Hamzat Chimaev, which takes place June 22 at UFC on ABC 6 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

"Gilbert Burns took away his wrestling power and then put him in trouble in the standup, and my punches are crisper and cleaner than Burns'. My distance is great for throwing those punches and it will be easier for me to defend against the kickdowns. The result will be different because I will be able to control distance and space.

I'm ready to fight Hamzat. It's a five-round fight and his pace will be a little bit different, otherwise, it will be a short night for him," Fox Sports Australia quoted Whittaker as saying.
