UFC interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall has spoken out about his upcoming bout with Curtis Blades.
"Since my first fight with Blades, my confidence has grown a lot. I'm better in every way now. I've become a new version of myself and Blades has gotten better too, so it's a new fight this time, but I'm going to go out there and try to finish it as early as possible. I'm fighting Curtis Blades, so Jon Jones and all the politics surrounding him are irrelevant right now - I'm only focused on the fight coming up and nothing else. If I win this fight, and I will, my next fight will definitely be for the current title. If I have to wait, I'll do it."
As a reminder, Aspinall's fight with Blades will take place on July 27 in Manchester.
