White reacted to Pereira's desire to fight at heavyweight

UFC CEO Dana White reacted to the promotion's welterweight champion Alex Pereira's desire to fight in the heavyweight division.

"When we talk about him moving up to heavyweight, there we have Jon Jones, Tom Aspinall and the list goes on - it's an intimidating division. I'm not sure it's the right move for him, but we'll deal with it. We'll see how things pan out," the functionary stated.

Recall that in the main event of UFC 300, Pereira knocked out Jamal Hill in the first round, defending his bantamweight championship belt. After that, he announced his readiness to fight at UFC 301 for the promotion's heavyweight championship belt.
