A well-known former Romanian super heavyweight kickboxer, Daniel Ghita, who appeared on the legendary K-1 rings, has recently become interested in politics. He strives to highlight pressing issues in the country and engage in public activities. Additionally, Ghita has a pro-Russian orientation, supporting pro-Russian candidate George Simion, known for his anti-Ukrainian statements, during the Romanian presidential elections.
Recently, Ghita reacted to information that US military forces had detained Nicolas Maduro and transported him to the United States. The former kickboxer asked Donald Trump to carry out such a special operation in Romania, detaining the duly elected president Nicușor Dan.
