Derek Chisora believes Deontay Wilder would remain a dangerous opponent for most heavyweights, but he is less convinced that threat would be enough against Oleksandr Usyk.
“I think Wilder will look solid against the other fighters in the division,” Chisora said. “He hits hard, and you really feel that in the early rounds. Over time, that power drops off a little, but the punch is still there. He can still turn around any fight with one shot.”
Chisora and Wilder met on April 4 at The O2 Arena in London, where Wilder earned a split-decision victory.
