Former British heavyweight champion David Price expressed confidence that Tyson Fury is capable of defeating Oleksandr Usyk if they have a third fight.
According to Price, Fury has every chance of success in a potential trilogy. He believes that both previous fights were extremely competitive and ended with a minimal advantage for the Ukrainian.
"Yes, I believe that Fury can beat Usyk. The second fight was very close — the difference was minimal. Even in the first fight, if you don't consider the episode in the ninth round, there was no significant advantage," the former British champion noted.
Price emphasized that Fury lost on points in a close contest, and now both boxers have gotten older. Moreover, after Usyk's second victory over Tyson, he spent some time without fights, which could, in Price's opinion, affect the balance of power.
"That's why I see no reason why Tyson shouldn't go for this fight again. Stylistically it's not an exhausting war, but more like a chess match," Price added, describing the clash as a tactical and intellectual battle in the ring.
