UFC legend Khabib Nurmagomedov reacted to the announcement of a fight between British former world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury and Russian knockout artist Arslanbek Makhmudov, which will take place on April 11 in the UK and will be broadcast live on Netflix.

"In my opinion, Tyson is coming out of retirement for the fifth time. Every summer he retires. I think before the holidays he says he's retiring. Then he runs out of money — and he returns."

At the same time, the Dagestani fighter gave credit to the Gypsy King's skill, calling him a great champion:

"But overall, Tyson is a great champion. And it seems he's going to fight a Dagestani? Of course, I will watch this fight."

The Fury (34-2-1, 24 KO) versus Makhmudov (21-2, 19 KO) fight will be the first for the 37-year-old Briton after more than a year-long break and two defeats to Oleksandr Usyk in 2024.
