Former world champion Carl Froch stated that he does not see any chances for Deontay Wilder in a fight against the holder of WBA, WBC, and IBF titles in heavyweight division Oleksandr Usyk.
“Deontay Wilder has lost four of his last six fights – two with Tyson Fury, and then with Zhilei Zhang and Joseph Parker. In my opinion, Wilder is finished, he is done. Deontay cannot take a punch, he doesn't even seem like a powerful puncher anymore.
If Wilder is still capable of powerful punches, then he could catch Usyk, and then this fight might be exciting. But Usyk is too clever, too smart,” said Froch.
Let us recall, it was previously reported that Wilder's next fight will be against Derek Chisora in April.
