Yet, Chavez, known for leaving an indelible mark on boxing history, now believes that "time has already passed them by." He expressed a desire for his sons to fight "four or five" more times before stepping away from boxing for good. Despite this sentiment, Chavez acknowledged their clean and healthy return to the sport.

Omar and Julio Jr. faced numerous challenges along the way. Their careers saw moments of highs and lows with injuries and personal struggles clouding their paths. A difficult year forced Julio to confront obstacles, but as his father noted, everything eventually settled down.

Chavez praised how they managed to navigate these trials while maintaining their integrity in boxing. While his sons' time in the limelight may be drawing to a close, Julio Cesar Chavez remains proud of what they've accomplished and optimistic about what lies beyond their boxing careers.
