Bivol-Eifert in April in Riyadh?

The unified light heavyweight world champion Dmitry Bivol (24-1, 12 KOs) is set to return to the ring in April at an event in Riyadh. The 35-year-old boxer is expected to face Michael Eifert (13-1, 5 KOs), the official IBF title challenger. Bivol also holds the WBA and WBO titles.

Eifert has long been the mandatory challenger for the IBF title and last stepped into the ring in August 2024.

Last year, Bivol underwent back surgery, which sidelined him for several months. In his last professional fight, Bivol won on points against Artur Beterbiev in their rematch.
