Amir Orfia President of the Swiss Boxing Federation and one-time coach to Benjamin expressed his own sorrow over this profound loss.
"Benjamin was a promising athlete and a brilliant personality. I watched his development while he was still in the ring and later as his coach. I will remember him as a positive, smiling and respectful young man," Orfia stated.
Among other victims was Emanuele Galeppini, known for his achievements in golf, further amplifying the heartbreak felt by both communities.
