Former world cruiserweight champion Chris Billam-Smith (21-2, 13 KO) announced that his contract with Boxxer expires at the end of the year, which means the 35-year-old boxer will become a free agent in January.
Recently, the Briton was supposed to fight for the interim WBO cruiserweight title, but negotiations were unsuccessful. Billam-Smith's last fight took place in April when he defeated Brandon Glanton.
For the Englishman, it was a return to the ring after last year's loss to Gilberto Ramirez, during which Billam-Smith lost his World Boxing Organization (WBO) title.
