In recent discussions, Jake Paul shifted his focus from Gervonta Davis, who faced legal issues, to securing an impressive fight against "AJ," as Joshua is known. Despite being smaller, less experienced, and weaker than Joshua, Paul aims high in this proposed bout anticipated for December.

During an interview with [Ring Magazine](https://www.ringmagazine.com), Tyson Fury made a bold statement that took many by surprise. He claimed,

"I don't know about tune-up, I think Jake Paul knocks him out. I just think Jake Paul would knock AJ out. I think AJ's a spent force and Jake Paul's on the rise and I like his new heavyweight look: a bit chubby and a bit bulky."
Such comments seem designed to provoke Joshua further.

Adding another layer of opinion to the mix, Derek Chisora also commented on this potential fight. He suggested a more realistic outcome where Paul could face significant challenges against Joshua. According to Chisora’s colorful warning, Paul might leave the event in an ambulance if things go south.

Meanwhile, Tyson Fury appears to enjoy sparking controversy between himself and Joshua through verbal jabs and remarks like this one. His motivations likely involve riling up Anthony Joshua while catalyzing fan interest in what might become one of the most talked-about hypothetical match-ups in recent memory.
