Gervonta 'Tank' Davis is preparing for his exhibition fight against Jake Paul on November 14 in Miami. However, according to a civil lawsuit, this week he has been accused of assaulting a woman at a strip club.
Davis was hit with a civil lawsuit on Thursday, October 30, accusing him of assault, causing serious bodily harm, illegal detention, kidnapping, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
The woman claimed the attack occurred on Monday, October 27, at Tootsie's Cabaret strip club in Miami Gardens, where she works as a waitress. According to the lawsuit, Davis choked, grabbed, pulled, pushed, and hit her on the back of her head.
The incident began around 4:15 a.m. when Davis met the woman in the VIP section of Tootsie's, where he grabbed her and forcibly dragged her down the stairs, through the kitchen, and out the back door all the way to the parking lot.
According to the complainant, she met Davis in 2022 and was in an intimate relationship with him for five months before claiming she was attacked at the club.
During those five months, Davis physically assaulted her four times and choked her, and twice threatened to kill her in writing, the complaint states.
