Canelo's Performance Stuns Boxing Expert: "He Was Outclassed"

Crawford jumped from welterweight all the way to super middleweight to face Canelo. Many experts thought the weight difference would be too much, but Crawford proved them wrong.

Eduardo Camarena, who used to work for TUDN and Televisa and now works for Netflix, said Crawford's performance was incredible.

"It was a boxing masterclass from Crawford. Crawford took Canelo to school."

Camarena explained that Crawford outclassed Canelo in speed, skill, strategy, and effectiveness. He also said Crawford's punches were more accurate and precise.

The fight went the full 12 rounds. Allegiant Stadium, which is home to the NFL's Las Vegas Raiders, was packed with fans watching the two champions go at it.

Interestingly, Canelo had some say in who got to commentate on the fight for Netflix. He vetoed certain commentators, including Camarena and Marco Antonio Barrera.

Camarena shared his thoughts on this decision:

"I'm not surprised that Canelo vetoes journalists, he thinks he has that right and that's fine. Journalists are enemies of the people you criticize and who do not like criticism, but that he has vetoed a historic figure like Marco Antonio Barrera, a Hall of Famer, a boxer who has a legacy bigger than Canelo's, it seems to me that it is a sacrilege and of course a lack of respect for a great world champion in retirement like Marco Antonio Barrera."

Crawford, who's just under 38 years old and from Omaha, Nebraska, showed he can compete at the highest level even against bigger opponents. Canelo, a 35-year-old former world champion from Guadalajara, Mexico, will need to regroup after this loss.

This fight will go down as a major upset and a defining moment in both fighters' careers. Crawford proved he's one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world, while Canelo will need to bounce back from a tough loss.
