Bradley didn't pull any punches when talking about Davis' future in the sport. He told Fight Hub TV:
"Tank is done. Tank is… hung them up, shoes off, get the bag, put a plaque up, he's done, Tank is done, period. Tank has checked out mentally, Tank is gone mentally. Tank looking for the big bag, for the big bag of Jake Paul, Pacquiao, and he's looking like 'Hey, I'll see you later.'"
Davis, the current WBA world lightweight champion, has remained unbeaten since his pro debut in 2013. He's won world titles in three weight classes from super featherweight to super lightweight.
His last fight against Lamont Roach Jr ended in a majority decision draw. Many fans and analysts thought Davis should've won, especially since a knockdown in the ninth round wasn't counted.
Bradley thinks Davis won't take on tough opponents anymore. He said:
"Tank is not gonna fight Shakur Stevenson at all, at all. I don't care how much Turki [Alalshikh] offers, give him four Lamborghinis whatever, Tank ain't taking that fight."
A rematch with Roach seems unlikely now. Roach has hinted that Davis won't finalize his side of the deal.
There's talk about Davis fighting Jake Paul before the year ends. Paul confirmed they were in talks before Davis' bout with Roach. Fans see it as more of a spectacle because of the big weight difference between them.
Boxing fans still hope to see Davis face Shakur Stevenson, the current WBC lightweight champion. But Bradley predicts Davis will avoid this fight at all costs.
Davis has had some trouble outside the ring too. He was arrested recently, adding to his list of legal issues.
