Jermell Charlo Issues Bold Challenge To Errol Spence: "Let's Make It Happen"

Fundora stopped Tszyu in the seventh round to claim the WBC and WBO titles. He's now set his sights on bigger challenges, namely Spence, who hasn't fought since July 2023.

Spence lost his unified welterweight titles to Terence Crawford in a one-sided affair that ended in the ninth round. It was Spence's first professional loss after notable wins against Shawn Porter, Danny Garcia, Mikey Garcia, and Kell Brook.

Since that defeat, Spence has been inactive. Rumors swirled about a potential comeback at 154lbs, possibly against Fundora, but nothing materialized.

In a post-fight interview, Fundora expressed his eagerness to face both Spence and Crawford:

"I hope so. I would still like to fight those guys. We have Crawford fighting Canelo now, super big fight. Spence I don't know where he's at but I'm sure he's going to come back good and strong, and when he does I'm ready."

Fundora acknowledged the upcoming bout between Crawford and Canelo but kept his focus on Spence. He believes Spence will return "good and strong" and wants to be ready for that opportunity.

Spence's future remains uncertain. His last fight against Crawford was a dominant loss, and he's been dealing with an ongoing eye injury. A move up to 154lbs could rejuvenate his career, and a fight with Fundora would certainly grab attention.

Fundora isn't the only one calling for a fight with Spence. Another former world champion has also expressed interest in facing "The Truth". As the boxing world waits for Spence's next move, Fundora's challenge adds another intriguing option to the mix.
