Isaac 'Pitbull' Cruz will face a new opponent on Saturday night after Angel 'Tashiro' Fierro got sick while trying to make weight. The fight's still on, but it won't be for the WBC interim super lightweight title anymore.

Cruz and Fierro were set to fight again after Cruz won their first match in February. But Fierro ended up in the hospital because of health problems during his weight cut. Now, Omar Salcido will step in to fight Cruz at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Salcido's got a record of 20 wins and 2 losses, with 14 knockouts. He lost his last fight to Andy Cruz on points. He was supposed to fight Brian Gallegos on the undercard, but now he's got a big chance in the spotlight.

Mauricio Sulaiman, who runs the World Boxing Commission, said Salcido might be the next big thing in boxing.

"Omar Salcido could be the emerging boxer,"
Sulaiman said.

This fight's part of a big night of boxing. Manny Pacquiao's coming back to the ring at 46 years old after four years away. He'll take on Barrios in the main event.

The action starts at 5:30 PM Eastern Time with four preliminary fights. The main event's set to begin at 11:00 PM ET.

Even with the last-minute change, the show's going to be a big deal. They've put together top-notch audio and video production to make sure it lives up to the hype.
