Tyson Fury keeps talking about getting back in the ring. The former two-time world champion and WBC ruler retired in January after losing twice to Oleksandr Usyk. Now he's thinking about making a comeback.
Fury called it quits on social media earlier this year. He'd lost to Usyk in May when he tried to become the undisputed champion. Then Usyk beat him even more clearly in December. After that, Fury decided to hang up his gloves.
While he was retired, Fury missed out on a big fight with Anthony Joshua. But now he's looking at coming back, and he's got his sights set on Usyk again.
Fury's been hinting at a third fight with Usyk in April. If that doesn't work out, he's open to facing Joshua instead.
Fury's also been talking about who'll be in his corner if he comes back. In an interview with Seconds Out, he was asked if his dad, John Fury, would be there.
"Yeah, my dad never left."
This is interesting because John Fury wasn't in the corner for the second Usyk fight. In the first one, he'd given different advice than the head coach, which caused some problems.
Fury also said he'd work with SugarHill Steward as his head coach if he comes out of retirement. Andy Lee would be there as an assistant too.
While Fury's planning his comeback, Usyk's getting ready for his next fight. He's still unbeaten and will face Daniel Dubois next weekend. It's Usyk's second shot at becoming the undisputed champion.
