This was Taylor’s third victory over Serrano.
This time the fight took place at a calmer pace. The Puerto Rican was more active, while the Irishwoman acted more precisely.
During the same evening, Alicia Baumgardner defeated Jennifer Miranda by points, defending her title as the undisputed champion in the first featherweight division. Shadasia Green defeated Savannah Marshall in a fight for the IBF and WBO belts in the super middleweight division. Ellie Scotney won against Yemilet Mercado by points, uniting three belts in the first flyweight division, while Cherneka Johnson stopped Shurletta Metcalf in the ninth round, becoming the holder of three belts in the first flyweight division.
