The 39-year-old boxer is in a good spot with the IBF and wants to make his 50th fight count. It'll be his last one before hanging up the gloves. Chisora's waiting to see what happens in the Oleksandr Usyk vs Daniel Dubois fight before he decides his next move.
Chisora revealed he got an offer to fight Itauma in Saudi Arabia, but he wasn't interested. He said:
"I had a phone call a couple of weeks ago. They offered me to fight Moses Itauma in Saudi. I said how much? They said a couple of million and I said 'nah, I'm out.'"
Chisora thinks the 20-year-old Itauma's got a bright future. The young boxer has knocked out ten of his 12 opponents so far. Chisora's impressed with what he's seen:
"This kid is on fire right now. He's getting better and better. He's not going backwards, he's going forward ... He's 20? Jesus Christ."
Itauma's set to face Dillian Whyte on August 16 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Chisora's worried about this matchup. He thinks Itauma will win easily and it could be dangerous for Whyte:
"Someone needs to call the police and get them done for attempted murder for making that fight happen. That is not the fight to make right now. Moses is on fire, so we need to decide who goes to prison when Dillian gets battered badly. There's no light at the end of that tunnel."
Chisora's enjoying a late career resurgence. He'll keep a close eye on the undisputed heavyweight championship fight between Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois. The outcome might influence who Chisora picks for his final fight.
