Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury could soon face off in a long-awaited all-British heavyweight clash. Both fighters are available and have no title conflicts, making this the perfect time for the matchup.

Hall of Fame fighter Barry McGuigan believes the time is right for this fight. In an interview with The Mirror, McGuigan said, "The right time for the fight is now." He pointed out that Joshua is taking a break after his loss to Daniel Dubois, and the fight makes more sense than ever.

McGuigan favors Joshua to win, citing his physical advantages. At 6ft 6in with an 82-inch reach, Joshua is more physically imposing and packs a harder punch. He's also more explosive, which could work well against Fury's style.

Fury isn't without his strengths, though. He has a 3-inch reach advantage over Joshua and quick hands. He often uses his skills and physical attributes to wear down opponents. However, Fury isn't known for devastating punching power and presents a large target.

McGuigan predicts a specific outcome: "Joshua walks Fury onto a right hand." He believes Joshua could catch Fury and knock him out, putting himself right back in the heavyweight picture.

Currently, Fury stands by his retirement. But many fans think he'll make a U-turn in the coming months.

This potential fight comes after both Joshua and Fury lost twice to Oleksandr Usyk, who now dominates the heavyweight division. A clash between these former champions could reshape the landscape of heavyweight boxing.
