Usyk, the Ukrainian fighter, has done it all. He's been the undisputed champion at cruiserweight and heavyweight. He beat Anthony Joshua twice and then Tyson Fury back-to-back. Now he's looking to defend his titles against Dubois.
Dubois, from Britain, has the IBF heavyweight belt. He's on a roll lately, beating Jarrell Miller, Filip Hrgovic, and Anthony Joshua. This win streak has put him right at the top of the division.
These two have fought before. Usyk won by stoppage, but that was between his fights with Joshua and Fury. Things might be different this time.
Usyk had to give up the IBF title to fight Fury again. Dubois picked it up, so now the winner of this fight will be the undisputed champ. The BBC reports that this makes the summer clash even bigger.
Some boxing experts think Dubois has a better shot this time. Ricky Hatton, who was a world champion in two weight classes, told Boxing News:
"I think Daniel has a better chance than the first time, what with a win off Joshua. His confidence is massively up. When he fought Usyk first time, he come off the defeat from Joyce, but now he's absolutely flying, he's got a better chance than the first time round, I think."
Hatton thinks it's the best fight in the division right now. He doesn't think the result is a sure thing. Amir Khan, another former world champ, also likes Dubois' chances in the rematch.
Usyk has come a long way from being the best at cruiserweight to ruling the heavyweights. Dubois has bounced back strong after losing to Joyce. Now, they're seen as the top two big men in boxing. Their fight on July 19 will show who's really the best.
