Boxing Legend Reveals Canelo's Weakness Crawford Could Exploit: "It's His Achilles Heel"

Oddsmakers predict Canelo will dominate the fight. But some analysts give Crawford a real shot at victory. The fight's buzz has grown since Canelo's disappointing performance against William Scull. In that bout, Canelo struggled to land punches against the elusive Cuban boxer. Many called it one of the worst fights of the year so far.

Barry McGuigan, a former world champion, thinks Crawford will win. In an interview with Betway, McGuigan shared his thoughts on how Crawford should approach the fight.

"I think Crawford needs to get back to his old self in terms of his punching power and timing."

McGuigan compares Crawford to Sugar Ray Robinson, praising his pinpoint timing. He advises Crawford to stay mobile in the ring.

"He's going to have to get in and out of the striking zone and not keep his feet in one place for too long."

The former champ warns Crawford against trading punches with Canelo early on.

"Crawford's not going to do that with Canelo early in the fight and he's going to be as evasive and elusive as he can because otherwise he's going to get drawn into a trench war. That wouldn't work so well."

Instead, McGuigan suggests Crawford should wait for Canelo to tire before increasing his attack.

"When you see Canelo fading, step on the gas and trade punches with him, but Canelo will know what to do."

The fight is still four months away, but experts and former boxers have already started making predictions. Fans and pundits alike view this as a once-in-a-lifetime matchup and a great boxing spectacle.
