"I was better this time, I demanded more from myself, I was more confident, lighter and just really wanted to win. I'm happy, I've been through a lot in the last few years. To be honest, after the defeat I felt a little bit better. I didn't feel as much pressure as before. My goal was just to work from the first to the last gong," stated Bivol.

"As for the third fight, of course I will be ready, but I want to rest a bit, as I had several injuries in the summer, including during this preparation, and I had to take anti-inflammatory drugs for almost the whole training camp. I will recover and I will be ready," concluded the new leader of the welterweight category.

Beterbiev, of course, was in a slightly different mood, and even stated that he, in principle, did not want yesterday's duel.

"I think this fight was even better than the first one. Now I have to get back in the game. I didn't want this rematch, it wasn't my choice, but no problem. I am definitely ready to have a third fight," stated Beterbiev.
