Berinchik lost to Davis by knockout in the fourth round

Boxing night just ended in New York, with Denis Berinchik defending his WBO lightweight world championship belt in the main event.

The first two rounds were relatively equal and extremely hectic. Both boxers could not find their distance, so there was a lot of clinch. And already in the third round Davis began to build up the pace and was able to send the Ukrainian into a flash knockdown.

And everything ended in the fourth round. The American hit the body and Berinchik could not rise to the count of 10. Thus, Davis is the new WBO lightweight champion of the world.
