Keyshawn Davis, the new WBO lightweight champion, thinks Ryan Garcia will beat Devin Haney if they fight again. Davis just won his title on Friday with a big win over Denys Berinchyk.

Davis stopped Berinchyk in the fourth round. It was a powerful performance that showed he's one of the top lightweights in boxing right now.

When asked about a possible rematch between Garcia and Haney, Davis said he's picking Garcia to win again. He based this on what happened in their first fight.

"I've got no choice but to go with Ryan again. I've definitely got Ryan going into this fight. Only thing I can see is what happened was the outcome."

Davis also mentioned he's seen Garcia and Haney fight as amateurs. He said those fights were always good to watch.

Garcia and Haney first fought as pros in April 2024. It was a big event where Garcia knocked Haney down several times and won on points. But later, the result changed to a no contest because Garcia failed a drug test.

Now, Garcia and Haney might fight again later this year. But first, they both have fights in May. Garcia will face Rolly Romero, while Haney will box Jose Ramirez.

Before moving up in weight, people thought Garcia and Haney were two of the best fighters at 135 pounds. Now, with Davis as a champion, the lightweight division looks even more interesting.

Davis gave the interview to Fight Hub TV. In the same chat, he also had strong words for another boxer named Davis - Gervonta 'Tank' Davis. This suggests we might see some exciting fights in the lightweight division soon.
