Andy Ruiz Jr. (35-2-1, 22 KOs) will prepare for his next fight under the watchful eye of Manny Robles, the trainer with whom he sensationally defeated unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua in 2019.
Ruiz and Robles parted ways after a rematch loss to AJ, after which the trainer accused "The Mexican Destroyer" of getting too caught up in resting on his laurels and losing the desire to train hard that once led him to championship belts.
Andy Ruiz Jr. last boxed last August, drawing a very sluggish fight with Jarell Miller. In recent months, "The Mexican Destroyer" has had to take a break from training at the boxing gym due to a hand injury.
