Ryan Garcia is getting ready to step back into the boxing ring in a few months. The 26-year-old Californian fighter will return after serving a suspension for testing positive for Ostarine.

Garcia's last fight was against Devin Haney in April. He put on a career-best performance, dropping Haney multiple times. Garcia was initially declared the winner, but the result was later changed to a no-contest due to the positive drug test.

Now, Garcia has his sights set on a new challenge. He'll face Rolando 'Rolly' Romero in May for the WBA 'regular' world welterweight title. It's a big opportunity for Garcia, who has never won a full world title before. He did hold the WBC Interim lightweight title back in 2021, but this fight could see him claim his first major world championship.

On the same show, Devin 'The Dream' Haney will also make his return to the ring. Haney, the former WBC super lightweight champion, took a break from boxing after the Garcia fight for personal reasons. He's now the WBC Champion In Recess and will face Jose Ramirez, a former unified WBC and WBO super lightweight champion.

If both Garcia and Haney win their fights in May, we might see them face off again. They'll want to settle the score after what happened last April. But first, they'll need to get past their upcoming opponents.

Garcia's comeback fight against Romero isn't just about winning a title. It's also about proving himself after the suspension and showing he's still one of the top fighters in the sport. The boxing world will be watching closely to see if he can pick up where he left off and continue his rise to the top.
