Kell Brook Predicts Dominant Victory in Potential Fury-Joshua Clash: "Total Control"

Brook knows a thing or two about big fights. For years, he felt Amir Khan overshadowed him. Khan won a silver medal at the Athens Olympics and turned pro with a lot of hype. He quickly won a light welterweight title and got big fights against Terence Crawford and Canelo Alvarez. But Brook and Khan finally settled their rivalry in Manchester last February. Brook won that fight, stopping Khan in the sixth round.

Now, Brook's got his eye on another potential British blockbuster. In a recent chat with Seconds Out, he shared his thoughts on a possible Fury-Joshua showdown:

"Yeah, I think they're both at that stage of their career where they fight for big money. This is the time."

When asked how he sees the fight going, Brook didn't hesitate:

"I'd go with Fury. I just see Fury in control, to be honest with you. Overall, looking at it, I think he's got more than Joshua. He's done it all, he's a fighting man, he can box, he can fight."

Brook made sure to give Joshua his due, adding:

"Don't get me wrong, Joshua is a serious athlete who can punch, he's an athlete and it's heavyweight boxing at the end of the day but I'd go with Fury."

Both heavyweights have hit some bumps in the road lately. Fury announced his retirement after two losses to Oleksandr Usyk. Joshua also lost twice to Usyk and came up short in his recent title attempt against Daniel Dubois.

Still, many boxing fans think Fury might be tempted to face 'AJ' later this year. It's a fight that's been talked about for years, and Brook's not the only one who wants to see it happen.
