Jaron Ennis thinks the potential fight between Terence Crawford and Canelo Alvarez is up for grabs. The IBF welterweight champion shared his thoughts on the match-up that's got boxing fans talking.

Crawford just won the WBA super-welterweight title in his 154lb debut. Now, he's looking to jump up two more weight classes to face Alvarez, the unified champion at 168lbs. It's a big leap, and Ennis sees it as a real challenge.

"It's going to be difficult … You have to put on an extra 14 pounds so you might be a little slower. Who knows he could be faster, but you have to add more weight and gain more muscle because of moving up in weight, so it's a little harder. We'll see on fight night how he looks."

Ennis, who's been trying to get a fight with Crawford for years, gave his take in a recent interview. He thinks Crawford will need to be smart and take his time. Boxing and moving will be key, and Crawford shouldn't stand still.

On the other hand, Ennis expects Canelo to press Crawford and try to bully the smaller guy. He thinks Canelo will want to show it's his weight class and won't let Crawford call the shots.

The fight is rumored for September, but nothing's set in stone yet. While we wait for more news on that, there's talk of Ennis possibly facing Teofimo Lopez later this year. Boxing fans are already starting to pick sides for that potential match-up.
