Mikey Garcia Picks Surprise Winner for Canelo-Crawford Showdown: "He's Just Too Good"

Crawford, known as 'Bud', will move up two weight divisions for this fight. He recently won the WBA super-welterweight title in August, his first fight at 154 pounds. Now, he's set to jump to 168 pounds to challenge Canelo.

Mikey Garcia, a four-weight world champion, shared his thoughts on the potential matchup. He said:

"I'm not a fan of that fight. They are too many weight classes apart. Crawford is one of the best fighters I've seen, but Canelo is fighting at 168 and Crawford just moved up to 154 and had some trouble in that fight."

Garcia believes Canelo will win due to his size and power advantage. He explained:

"I think Canelo wins that fight based on just the power and size. Skill wise I think Crawford is a better skilled fighter, but the difference in size will be the deciding factor. That's why I'm not a fan of that fight."

You can watch Garcia's full interview on YouTube, where he goes into more detail about his prediction.

Former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder has also weighed in on the fight, though his prediction wasn't shared in the article.

As September approaches, boxing fans will watch closely for the official announcement of this intriguing matchup between two of the sport's biggest stars.
