Evander Holyfield has some advice for Oleksandr Usyk. The two boxers share a unique record as undisputed champions in both the cruiserweight and heavyweight divisions.

Holyfield, who retired in 2011 with 44 wins and 10 losses, knows a thing or two about when to hang up the gloves. He scored wins over Mike Tyson, Hasim Rahman, and George Foreman during his career.

Now, he's offering guidance to the unbeaten 37-year-old Usyk. In an interview with FightHub TV, Holyfield said:

"Well, he the undisputed champ, right. If he feels that he's satisfied then he can step down. But if he's not satisfied and feels he needs to make some more money he has the decision to make. He can retire and say this is my money I'm done, or he can give somebody else that chance to beat him."

Holyfield shared his own experience, explaining why he kept fighting:

"I didn't retire 'cause I did what my momma said. My momma said you don't quit on a loss. But you don't want to go so far that all of a sudden you can beat some people but you can't beat that younger guy no more. It will catch up with you."

Usyk, who cleaned out the cruiserweight division in the four-belt era before moving up to heavyweight, seems ready for more action. He wants another undisputed fight, potentially against the winner of the upcoming IBF title fight between Daniel Dubois and Joseph Parker.

Boxing fans often discuss a fantasy matchup between Holyfield and Usyk. While that's not possible, Usyk's career decisions in the coming months will shape his legacy as he follows in Holyfield's footsteps.
