Tyson Fury's Trainer Spills Surprising Details About Usyk Prep: "Never Seen Him Like This"

Warren shared details about Fury's preparation in a recent interview. He said, "The team was what it was and the training camp went extremely well and the result is what it is."

This camp was different from the one before their first fight. Back then, Fury got a bad cut late in his preparation. This stopped him from sparring for the rearranged May fight. But this time, things went smoothly.

One big change in Fury's corner was the absence of his father, John Fury. Warren explained why this happened:

"That was the best thing to do, that was the way forward. It wasn't controversial. Tyson's a very astute guy. He knows his boxing, he's got a good boxing brain. What everyone has to understand is it's his dad. He's close to his father, his father's close to him. The second fight, the team was what it was."

Despite the good camp, Fury lost the rematch. Usyk won by unanimous decision, with all three judges scoring it 116-112. The Ukrainian boxer imposed himself with a relentless work-rate and landed cleaner shots.

This victory made Usyk the second man to hold all cruiserweight and heavyweight titles. He had to give up his IBF belt to fight Fury again.

As for Fury's future, he hasn't decided his next move yet. A huge fight with fellow Brit Anthony Joshua, who also lost to Usyk, might be on the cards. This bout would surely get the whole country talking.
