Conor McGregor will step back into the boxing ring to face Logan Paul. The former UFC champion shared the news on social media, setting the stage for his return to combat sports after a three-year hiatus.

McGregor posted a picture of Logan Paul on X (formerly Twitter) with the caption "I'm coming." The post hinted at a potential bout in India, with rumors swirling about a massive $250,000,000 purse for each fighter. The Ambani family, billionaires from India, are said to be in talks to stage the event.

This won't be McGregor's first rodeo in the boxing world. In 2017, he crossed over to face Floyd Mayweather in one of the most financially successful bouts in history. Despite being outboxed and stopped in ten rounds, McGregor's foray into boxing proved his drawing power.

Since then, McGregor's career has hit a few bumps. His last MMA fight in 2021 ended in a stoppage loss to Dustin Poirier due to a leg break. He's also faced legal troubles, recently being found liable in a sexual assault civil case.

Logan Paul, on the other hand, has been making waves in the combat sports world. The content creator turned WWE wrestler has had a taste of boxing, facing KSI twice and stepping into the ring with Floyd Mayweather for an unscored exhibition.

Jake Paul, Logan's younger brother, has been more active in professional boxing. He's been chasing a fight with McGregor for a while now. Depending on how Logan fares against the Irishman, Jake might still get his shot.

As fight fans eagerly await more details, one thing's for sure – McGregor's return to boxing against Logan Paul will grab headlines and potentially break records at the box office.
