Wladimir Klitschko keeps talking about coming back to boxing. The former heavyweight champ hasn't fought since losing to Anthony Joshua at Wembley Stadium in April 2017.

Klitschko turns 49 in March. He wants to break George Foreman's record as the oldest world heavyweight champion. Foreman set that record at 46 years and 169 days old. If Klitschko wins a world title, he'll smash that record easily.

Tyson Fury could have been his opponent if Fury had beaten Oleksandr Usyk in December. When asked if he could still beat fighters like Fury, Klitschko didn't hesitate. In an interview with Fight Hub TV, he simply said, "Of course."

"Why are there rumours out there? Because I've been active and trained every day since I retired in 2017. Do I got it? Of course. Am I ready? Of course. Have I been sparring? Of course."

Klitschko keeps his options open for the future. He said, "There are a lot of things that can happen in the next year. A lot depending unfortunately from the war that is going on in our home country Ukraine."

With Klitschko still on the sidelines, a fight between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua looks more likely. Both men have faced Klitschko in the past.

The boxing world watches closely to see if Klitschko will actually step back into the ring. His return would shake up the heavyweight division and potentially rewrite the record books.
