Former world light heavyweight champion Alexander Gvozdik commented on the victory of Oleksandr Usyk over Tyson Fury.
On December 21, the Ukrainian defeated the Briton by unanimous decision of the judges, defending the WBA, WBO and WBC titles in the super heavyweight division.
"If in the first fight there were surprises, both from one side and the other, then in the rematch everything was expected. Sasha just did his job and got a solid win. The rematch was more even, tense, but Usyk won without question. Usyk has long surpassed the Klitschko brothers. After the first fight with Fury, Usyk became an absolute in the super heavyweights, before that he was in the cruiserweight division, and the Klitschko brothers have never been absolutes, although they gave a huge boost to the development of boxing in Ukraine," said Gvozdik.
