Daniel Dubois will defend his IBF World Heavyweight Title against Joseph Parker on February 22 in Riyadh. The fight will serve as the chief support for the undisputed light-heavyweight rematch between Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol.

Dubois got elevated from interim to full champion after beating Filip Hrgovic. He then made his first title defence with a knockout victory over Anthony Joshua at Wembley Stadium. Parker, a former heavyweight champion himself, earned his shot with recent wins over Deontay Wilder and Zhilei Zhang.

Parker steps up as the deserving challenger given his recent form and championship pedigree. The New Zealander went the full 12 rounds with Anthony Joshua in a title fight during Joshua's prime.

Former world champion turned analyst Paulie Malignaggi shared his thoughts on the matchup with Pro Box TV.

"Dubois is known for explosive fighting and highlight reel knockouts, but he'll need to show IQ to beat Parker. A victory would really elevate his rating. Parker's a multi-layered fighter. He's smart and tricky. He's an ex heavyweight champion who knows how to deal with punchers."

Malignaggi doesn't expect a quick knockout for Dubois. He thinks Parker could accumulate points, potentially forcing Dubois into a desperation knockout if he falls behind on the scorecards.

The fight promises to be an intriguing clash of styles. Dubois brings explosive power and knockout potential, while Parker offers experience and ring smarts. The winner will cement their place among the heavyweight division's elite.
