Jake Paul beat boxing legend Mike Tyson in November. The fight went the full eight two-minute rounds, with Paul getting the win by unanimous decision.
The match split opinions in the boxing world. Many felt Tyson, at 58 years old, shouldn't have stepped back into the ring. But the fight happened, and Paul came out on top.
After his win, Paul got called out by some big names in boxing. One of those was Artur Beterbiev, the undisputed light-heavyweight champion. Beterbiev said he wanted to get payback for Tyson's loss.
"For a long time I have favourite boxers like Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson. Jake Paul beat Tyson, one of my favourite boxers. My first reaction was I want to pay him back, but after a couple of days it's good, I don't want to fight with him. If he wants it [we can fight], but I think he doesn't like to fight me."
Beterbiev thinks Paul has some skills, but isn't that good. He believes he'd show Paul what a real boxer looks like if they fought.
Paul's win over Tyson came just a month after Beterbiev's own big victory. In October, Beterbiev beat Dmitry Bivol by majority decision. That win made him the undisputed champion at 175 pounds, holding all four major belts.
Paul, known as "The Problem Child," seems to be getting attention from champions now. But he's also made claims about fighters turning down big money to face him. He says one fighter said no to an eight million dollar offer for a fight.
The boxing world keeps talking about Paul. Whether it's his win over an aging legend or callouts from current champs, he's staying in the spotlight. We'll have to wait and see who he fights next.
