Mike Tyson's Comeback Fight Leaves Shannon Briggs Stunned: "Never Expected..."

The judges scored the fight 80-72, 79-73, and 79-73, all in Paul's favor. The outcome didn't live up to the hype surrounding the event.

Tyson, at 58 years old, struggled in the ring. The former champ found it tough to keep up with his younger opponent. It's been nearly two decades since Tyson's last professional fight in 2005.

Before the fight, Shannon Briggs, a former world heavyweight champion, thought Tyson would win easily. He predicted a knockout for his fellow Brooklyn native.

But after the fight, Briggs had a different tune. In an interview, he asked:

"What happened? I would have liked to have seen Mike throw more punches. I wondered why he wasn't. He should have went crazy and got busy and took it to him."

Some fans wondered if the fighters had made a deal before the match. Briggs spoke up against claims that the bout might have been 'scripted'.

The fight showed the gap between the 58-year-old "Iron Mike" and his much younger opponent. Paul outclassed Tyson, who couldn't find his rhythm in the ring.
