Evander Holyfield, who beat Tyson twice for the WBA heavyweight title in the 90s, shared his thoughts on the upcoming bout. The former champ, known as "The Real Deal," spoke to Clocked n Loaded about the fight.
"He's [Mike Tyson] supposed to win. My whole thing is that it's an exhibition, so I don't know what's gonna happen. I just know that Mike Tyson's supposed to beat him. He's supposed to."
Holyfield didn't rule out surprises, though. He added:
"But, in a situation like this it's a big money thing, so ain't no telling what's gonna happen. I'm gonna be there. I'll go watch it."
Both Tyson and Holyfield are 58 years old now. Tyson hasn't had a pro fight in almost twenty years, retiring on his stool against Kevin McBride in his last outing. Paul, who's much younger, has had 11 professional boxing fights so far.
Holyfield knows a thing or two about comebacks. He recently stepped back in the ring against Vitor Belfort but got stopped on his feet after less than two minutes. That event drew a lot of criticism from boxing fans and experts.
The Tyson vs Paul fight is billed as an exhibition match. It's got people talking, and with Netflix streaming it live, it's sure to draw a big audience. We'll have to wait until November 15 to see if Holyfield's prediction comes true.
