The bout between the YouTuber boxer and the boxing legend was supposed to take place earlier. But Iron Mike had to postpone his fight due to an aggravation of his ulcer. Now it's all set and fans can't wait.

Netflix will show the fight live. The main card will begin at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. CT) in the U.S. and at midnight Saturday in the United Kingdom.

Tyson, now 58, hasn't fought professionally in 19 years. He has won six heavyweight titles in his career. Paul, on the other hand, has a 10-1 record and has won both of his fights in 2024.

Tyson vs Paul fight rules

The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation has set special rules for this heavyweight bout. The fighters will fight eight rounds, each round lasting two minutes. If the fight goes all rounds, it will be up to the judges to decide.

They will use 14 ounce gloves, which are heavier than the usual 10 ounce heavyweight gloves.

There will be no protective helmets.

Weight restrictions

Paul usually fights between 84 and 90 pounds, but for this fight he wants to weigh around 100 pounds. This will be his first fight at heavyweight.

Tyson will likely weigh more than Paul. In his best years, Tyson fought at around 99 kg. His heaviest opponent was Kevin McBride at 123 kg, which was Tyson's last professional fight.

Jake Paul shared his expectations for the fight:

"I'm very excited for this fight. Tyson is a legend and I know I'm going to have to work hard. But I'm ready for the challenge."

Tyson also shared his thoughts:

"Paul is young and hungry, but I have experience on my side. It's going to be a great fight for the fans."

The fight has already generated a lot of excitement. Some think it's a great fight, while others aren't sure if it should have even taken place. Either way, it will be one of the most high-profile boxing events of the year.
